Neurodivergent Perspectives

Formerly known as The Rooms of Knutsford, our new name better reflects both the services we provide and the ethos that guides our work. Neurodivergent Perspectives expresses the way we value and celebrate the many different ways people experience the world.

By recognising these unique perspectives, we can offer more tailored strategies, more meaningful communication, and a deeper understanding of each individual.

Although our name has changed, we remain the same thoughtful, compassionate, and neuroaffirmative multidisciplinary team – dedicated to supporting you with the same care and expertise you have always known us for.

Neurodivergent Perspectives

About Neurodivergent Perspectives

At Neurodivergent Perspectives, we are a thoughtful, compassionate, and neuroaffirmative multidisciplinary team of like-minded clinicians committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments. Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that every assessment is thorough, person-centred, and informed by the latest research, leading to accurate diagnoses and meaningful recommendations for support.

While we recognise the importance of diagnosis, we place equal emphasis on creating detailed neurodevelopmental profiles that celebrate each individual’s unique strengths and differences. Our aim is not to provide therapy directly, but to clarify how different factors interact with a person’s wider neurodevelopmental profile. Findings can then be shared with third-party supportive services to help guide the most effective support. By building this deeper understanding, we are able to recommend tailored strategies that empower individuals – and those around them – to thrive.

What is a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT)?

A Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) is a group of professionals from different fields who work together to assess, diagnose, and support individuals with neurodevelopmental differences. Each team member brings their own area of expertise, ensuring a comprehensive, holistic approach to understanding a person’s strengths, challenges, and needs. Our MDT includes Clinical Psychologists, Specialist Neurodevelopmental Assessors, Speech and Language Therapists, Mental Health Specialists, Cognition and Learning Specialists and Specialist Specific Learning Differences Diagnostic Assessors.

In line with the guidelines set by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE), an assessment service should be made up of appropriately qualified allied health professionals from different health and education related disciplines.

By working collaboratively, our MDT ensures that assessments capture the full picture of an individual’s experiences, reducing the risk of misdiagnosis or overlooked needs. This approach is especially beneficial for complex cases, where traits of different neurodivergences all overlap, or where masking and camouflaging may make traditional assessments more challenging.

Highly recommend the team who assessed my daughter for ASD, ADHD and general learning difficulties earlier this year. The whole process was done in under 8 weeks and by the 12th week I had the full diagnosis and reports for my daughter confirming what I had believed. I cannot thank the team enough and I am now enquiring about an assessment for myself as I wouldn't go anywhere else. Great team and very thorough reports which the NHS and schools all accepted etc. Thankyou your help and support has truly been invaluable.

We reached out to Neurodivergent Perspectives for support with an EHCP Needs Assessment request to the local authority. They achieved a Yes to Assess decision within the statutory 6 weeks without needing to go to mediation. So thrilled and relieved. Thank you!

Neurodivergent Perspectives have been simply outstanding.

I was worried that they would not be able to assess my child as she struggles to communicate with people they know well and trust, let alone strangers, but Neurodivergent Perspectives have put together a team who really inspire trust, so much so that she felt able to open up to them.

Not only have they done such fabulous work with her, but they also guided and supported me throughout the whole process.

My child will often strongly tell me her issues with any given person or subject, and she had not one utterance of complaint, which is basically the highest compliment someone could ever receive!

It is hard to trust someone with your child, especially when they are in a situation where they are having real struggles, but Neurodivergent Perspectives really do live up to their wonderful reputation. I cannot recommend them highly enough. It is not hyperbole when I say that they have helped steer the course of my child's life in a much better direction.

I will be forever grateful.

Caring, professional, understanding... We can't thank the team at NDP enough. The process was clear to follow from start to finish and communication was easy and straight forward. This will have such a positive impact on the life of our son.

Cannot thank you enough for your support with both of my daughters through the assessment process. The process is really clear and explained from the start. Really supportive throughout and answered all questions. We are thankful for your advice during the feedback session too which will help massively. The team are friendly and experienced. They really helped both my daughters feel at ease during the assessments. I always recommend you to any person who wants to explore a diagnosis. I was recommended by a friend and the difference it’s made is huge! Thank you again

Both my daughter and son were assessed for ASD and I can’t recommend Neurodivergent Perspectives highly enough.
An amazing team - all so professional, friendly & caring. The assessment was thorough and individualised and myself and children were guided and supported through every step of the way. This was followed by a detailed face to face feedback session, recommendations and a report that has been accepted by all educational settings

I cannot thank Lucy Kornecki enough for the support she has given myself and daughter over the years - we wouldn’t be where we are today if it hadn’t been for Neurodivergent Perspectives
